The Portuguese public broadcaster RTP aired a report on the development of the INNOBICS-SAHS project in Lisbon.

The report featured two patients who explained how their quality of life changed after going through the project. Additionally, Dr. Paula Pinto, coordinator of the Sleep Unit of the Santa Maria Local Health Unit, described how the new care process is making it possible to speed up diagnosis and initiate treatment in less than a month.

To date, primary care centres in the Lisbon area have seen more than 600 patients with suspected obstructive sleep apnoea, and around 80% of the cases have been resolved by primary care.
